If you know me, you know I have been to Disney World probably 20 times. I have only been 3 times since being gluten-free, so I am still learning where to eat.

I am not someone who has ever liked eating savory meals at Disney Parks (if you are looking for gluten-free lunch and dinner menus, check out Undercover Tourist (I used to watch their Youtube videos as a kid). I am someone who loves snacks, treats, and beverages (mostly virgin, but a hard bev every once and a while is nice). During my most recent trip to Orlando, we spent a day at Epcot and a day at Magic Kingdom, eating some delicious snacks and drinking yummy drinks. Here are my top 5, in order:

Fifth place: Maple popcorn in Epcot Canada

It's HOT, it's unique, and it's delicious. We got the refillable popcorn bucket for about $15, and each refill (in all the parks) was $2.25. For a gluten-free girl, this is an excellent way to snack on a budget everywhere. Sadly, the other flavors of popcorn are no longer available in Epcot, but the original buttered popcorn is amazing anyway. The maple popcorn is buttery and sweet, and is like the superior cousin of kettle corn. Even without the refillable bucket, you should try this.

Fourth Place: Orange Cream Soft-Serve at Sunshine Tree Terrace (Adventureland)

My first time trying Orange DOLE Whip and it did not disappoint. The flavor got better and better with each bite. I'm sure the floats are good, but trust me on this: the orange and vanilla swirl is your best bet if you want a balanced sweet treat while saving room in your stomach for more park snacks.

Third Place: Watermelon Tajin rings from Main Street Confectionery

Tajin girls, you need these. Peach rings with a watermelon twist and some spice? I cannot get enough of them and am saving my last 4 rings for the coming weekend (it's like a reward). I don't typically gravitate to sour gummy candy, but the Disney Parks branded candy is my Achilles heel. I also got my sister the mango gummies with Joy on the package because I couldn't leave without another bag of candy. I found a great version on Amazon here (paid link) and I will be ordering from there until further notice.

Second Place: Pineapple DOLE Whip swirl at Aloha Isle

Conveniently located less than a football field away from Sunshine Tree Terrace, these DOLE whips went head to head on our trip. The consensus? I prefer the pineapple, John prefers the orange. Both are necessary eats. The pineapple is creamier, the orange is icier (it's not necessarily a bad thing), and they're both best in swirl version with vanilla soft serve.

First Place: Mango Starr at Refreshment Cool Post in Epcot

It's simple: African Starr rum and frozen mango puree (probably from concentrate with added sugar and dye because it's GOOOOD). The best thing I consumed in the 48 hours we spent at Disney. No, it does not taste alcoholic, and I wouldn't mind if they took the alcohol out so I could have 5 of them. It's perfect.
